Le Tour – valley floor

Good weather meeting point: in front of the restaurant l’Olympique sign, to the right of the lift ticket desks.

Adverse weather meeting point: inside the bar part of the restaurant l’Olympique.

Charamillon (alt 1950m)

Good weather meeting point: : In front of the ski patrol hut, to the left side, ax 10 metres after exiting the gondola.

Adverse weather meeting point: inside the bar part of the restaurant Chalet de Charamillon by the door closest to the gondola / balcony .

La Vormaine – valley floor 

In front of the small trail map sign  situated below the ski tows.

There is car parking very close to the ski tows.  Having driven up from Argentiere & got to the large car park immediately beneath the Le Tour gondola, drive over the bridge then turn right up a narrow street between the old houses. Keep going to the end of the road & you will be in the car park. If the police are asking you to park at Montroc because of congestion , you can explain that you are going to La Vormaine & if you are lucky they may let you through.

If you arrive by bus, simply walk across to the snack bar  by walking past the  ticket  desks of Le Tour, continue on, passing immediately  below the Restaurant l’Olympique & you will see the ski tows ahead of you. Snack bar is beneath the ski tows.

La Flegere – valley floor

Good weather meeting point: In front of the small snack bar at the foot of the Index chairlift

Adverse weather meeting point: In the bar area of the restaurant on the lower level of the cablecar building

Clos du Savoy – valley floor

In front of the « Sunny Bar », slightly higher than the bottom of the ski tows.

Parking for the Clos du Savoy can be difficult & it's often easiest to drop off the skiers in the entrance to Club Med, park in the underground car park "St Michel" above the Church, and then to walk ax five mins through the Club Med (restricted) car park.
Inexpensive parking (1E / day) is available at the Brevent ski area but beginners will not be capable of skiing down to the meeting point from the Brevent car park.

By the phone booth to the left of the ticket desks.

Les Planards  - valley floor

In front of the entrance to the Restaurant les Planards.

Les Houches Prarion – valley floor

By the trail map in front of the cash desks.

Good weather meeting point: At foot of the stairs of the Gondola top station.

Adverse weather meeting point: Inside the gondola  station on the return to Chamonix (descending) side of the lift.
